Following the success of the inaugural tour as part of Women's Health Week 2017, the Women's Adventure Film Tour is returning with an all new set of short films celebrating the inspiring women in adventure. This film festival is a celebration of the fantastic women around us who are doing extraordinary things. Join us for a series of inspiring short films with a focus on adventure, the environment and heart warming stories.
This year’s tour includes 12 short films and is particularly unique as for the first time in any adventure film tour of Australia half of the films feature local Aussies and Kiwis. Watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KS5uX_oHRw
Join us to witness first hand the grit and determination of local Blue Mountains Rock Climber, Monique Forestier. Take on the mountains with the youngest Australian to summit Mt Everest, Alyssa Azar. Journey across Greenland on a bicycle with record breaking expedition cyclist, Kate M Leeming. Experience snowboarding in Iran through the eyes of international snowboard competitor Michaela Davis-Meehan. And get a glimpse into life as a competitive adventurer with world champion trails rider Janine Jungfels, and Australian and New Zealand Olympic skiers Anna Segal and Janina Kuzma.
