Californian rockers The Growlers will return to Australia in January for a run of headline shows, backed by their most recent album, Chinese Fountain. The band have locked in dates for New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, with more shows still to be announced.
The Growlers showcased their intense live show at four sold-out debut Australian headline shows in March, before returning home to ready the September release of Chinese Fountain, which Music Feeds reviewer Shane Arnold called “an interesting little album, full of relaxing chill-out ditties that are grungy enough to entertain on a balmy Saturday night or soundtrack a Sunday morning recovery session”.
This time around, the group will play at least 14 Aussie shows, including some in regional towns across eastern Australia. The band have been touring the US, UK and Europe over the last few months, and are more than ready to bring material from Chinese Fountain to their Aussie fans.
